...but it's got nearly half of everything I needed for my Spit6 conversion. If I started with this as a base, I'd probably have ended up spending half as much. Not the body style I like best though, but if I had the money I'd buy it, clean it up a little and sell it on to bankroll my current one :)

Much modified, such car.

It looked like he had plans for that car, but never finished what he started.

Yeah. I'd be concerned about the workmanship, but I'd be surprised if that wasn't easily rectified.

Looks like a good start for a 6 cylinder spitfire. You could probably clean it up a bit and make a little on it. I've got to get mine on the road. It's been way too long.

That's what I was thinking :) it would be good to try out a couple of things on this one too as practice for my one. It'd also be good to see how much of a difference all of the effort into balancing out the chassis would do, assuming that this one's just had an engine stuck up front and nothing else.

If you do get working on the spitfire make sure you post up about it :) I love projecty-threads

I bought a project that some else gave up on four years ago. I've had it on the road once, but quickly realized it still needed quite a bit before it's actually roadworthy. .ill see what I can do. My kids bought me a GoPro for Xmas. I should set it up and do a time lapse or something.

I have seen that one.. It's one of the best engine rebuild videos I've seen. It makes it look so easy.
